Bay Mills-Resort and Casino Upgrades

Project Overview:

EDI-Dolejs served as Engineer of Record for the mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems for the major expansion of Bay Mills Resort & Casino in Brimley, Michigan. The expansion adds 135 guest rooms across two three-story wings and a four-story central section, along with new amenities including a spa, fitness center, conference and lounge spaces, arcade, gift shop, rooftop deck, and an aquatic center featuring a zero-entry pool, splash pad, sauna, and hot tub.

EDI-Dolejs also designed security, information technology, data, and communications infrastructure to support efficient operations, guest comfort, safety, and connectivity throughout the expanded resort.

Project Highlights:

135 new guest rooms, including 12 deluxe rooms.
Two three-story guest-room wings and four-story central section.
Lake Superior views and balconies for approximately 75% of rooms.

New aquatic center with pool, splash pad, sauna, and hot tub.
Spa, fitness center, conference room, lounge, arcade, and gift shop.
