Project Overview:
EDI-Dolejs provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, security, data, and communications design services for the new 17,000-square-foot Cold Spring Fire & Rescue Station. The facility includes apparatus bays, training and meeting rooms, locker rooms, decontamination showers, turnout gear storage, and a modern serving kitchen.
Building systems include in-floor radiant heating, an exterior snow-melt system, standby electrical generation, and a storm shelter. The design also includes provisions for future roof-mounted solar panels, creating a safe, resilient, and efficient facility that supports the department’s emergency response and daily operations.
