Carlton County Justice Center

Project Overview:

EDI-Dolejs provided full engineering design services for the Carlton County Justice Center. Constructed on county-owned land that previously operated as a quarry, the facility includes a 96-bed jail with direct inmate access to the courtrooms. The project included geothermal heating and cooling with water to water heat pumps. The design also allows the Sheriff’s Office to enter the jail directly through the Jail Administration area, enhancing operational efficiency, support, and safety.
