Project Overview:

EDI-Dolejs served as Engineer of Record for the mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and technology systems for the new 16,500-square-foot Eagan Fire Station No. 1. The walk-out facility replaces two older stations with a centralized location designed to improve emergency response while providing modern operational, training, wellness, and living spaces for the Eagan Fire Department.

The station’s design emphasizes firefighter health and safety, with dedicated decontamination areas and carefully designed ventilation systems that help control contaminants from apparatus, protective gear, and equipment. Energy-efficient building systems further support occupant comfort, operational efficiency, and long-term performance.
