Project Overview:
EDI-Dolejs served as the engineer of record for the park pavilion and restroom/concessions building improvements at Excelsior Commons, a historic 13-acre waterfront park overlooking Lake Minnetonka. Completed in phases between 2021 and 2023, the project included a new pavilion replacing the former bandshell, along with a new restroom and concessions building, expanded gathering and seating areas, landscaping, stormwater infrastructure, and utility improvements. EDI-Dolejs provided the design for the bandshell lighting, electrical and audio infrastructure, major electrical and plumbing utilities, fire pits, and electrical power pedestals for food trucks to support concerts, community gatherings, and special events.
