Project Overview:
EDI-Dolejs provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection engineering design services for Bloomington Fire Station No. 4, a new two-story, nearly 26,000-square-foot facility completed in 2024. Replacing the existing 4,500-square-foot station, the new facility was designed to meet current operational demands while supporting the community’s future needs. The station includes three-and-a-half apparatus bays, office spaces, a training mezzanine, firefighter dormitories, a fitness center, and wellness amenities. High-efficiency building systems support occupant comfort, long-term performance, and reliable emergency operations.
