Project Overview:

EDI served as the Engineer of Record and Commissioning Authority for the Apple Valley Municipal Liquor Store, a 15,400-square-foot retail facility designed to meet ambitious sustainability goals. The project became the first commercial building in Minnesota to achieve Green Globes Certification, demonstrating the City’s commitment to energy efficiency and environmental stewardship.

The facility incorporates innovative geothermal heating and cooling, energy-efficient lighting, and advanced building controls to reduce energy consumption and support long-term operational savings.
