Project Overview:
EDI-Dolejs provided commissioning services for the Hennepin County Communications Facility, a critical emergency communications center designed to serve as the backbone of county-wide emergency communications. The facility was developed with a strong emphasis on reliability, security, and continuous operation during both normal and emergency conditions.
Our team served as commissioning authority for the facility’s normal and standby mechanical and electrical systems. Commissioning included peer review of the system designs, construction observation, and functional testing to verify system performance. Multiple layers of redundancy were incorporated throughout the facility to help maintain critical operations during emergency situations.
