Project Overview:
EDI-Dolejs provided mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and telecommunications engineering for the 172,614-square-foot Wright County Law Enforcement Center. The facility consolidates critical county operations, including the County Jail, Sheriff’s Office, E911 Dispatch Center, and primary Information Technology Data Center.
The building incorporates extensive sustainable and energy-efficient systems designed to reduce operating and maintenance costs while maintaining the reliability required for a 24/7 public safety facility. Key strategies include a large geothermal bore field, radiant heating, energy recovery, high-efficiency equipment, advanced lighting controls, redundant communications, and complete standby electrical power.
