Faribault County Justice Center

Project Overview:

EDI-Dolejs provided mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and telecommunications engineering for the 180,000-square-foot Faribault County Justice Center. The facility brings together the County Jail, Sheriff’s Office, E911 Dispatch Center, and the county’s main Information Technology Data Center within a modern, secure facility.

The building systems were designed with a strong emphasis on sustainability, reliability, and reduced operating and maintenance costs. Energy-efficient strategies include geothermal heating and cooling, in-floor radiant heating, energy recovery, occupancy-based controls, daylight harvesting, and programmable lighting systems.
