The MnDOT St. Croix Travel Information Center—the busiest rest area in Minnesota—provides a welcoming, efficient experience for the state’s many travelers. As engineer of record, our team delivered comprehensive mechanical, electrical, plumbing, technology, security, and audio design services.
The project incorporates energy-efficient building systems designed to support reliable performance and responsible long-term operation. Decorative color-changing LED lighting adds a distinctive visual element, allowing MnDOT to customize the facility’s appearance for different seasons and holidays. Together, these integrated systems enhance safety, comfort, functionality, and the overall visitor experience.
