Project Overview:
EDI-Dolejs provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, data and communications, and audiovisual engineering design services for Coon Rapids Fire Station No. 3, completed in 2025. The facility was designed to support firefighter health, safety, and operational efficiency while providing modern spaces for emergency response and daily operations. The station features high-efficiency building systems, advanced apparatus bays, wellness amenities, adaptable dormitory suites, and specialized features including rooftop firefighting capabilities and a historical museum display. Together, these elements create a modern fire station designed to support both firefighters and the Coon Rapids community.
