Location:  St. Paul, Minnesota

Project Overview:

Saint Paul Public Schools (SPPS) serves more than 39,000 students across 85 school buildings. In response to growing school security concerns, SPPS retained EDI to evaluate, recommend, and design a district-wide security solution.

EDI designed a single, integrated Physical Security Information Management (PSIM) system that utilizes the District’s existing wide area network to connect all 85 school buildings to a centralized command center. The system integrates multiple building and security systems, allowing them to communicate with one another to improve monitoring, coordination, and emergency response throughout the District.
